Shooting straight to the top of the Hackney rankings at the latest update, Clissold Quarter is a Higgins Home development right opposite Clissold Park. The development is a collection of 158, one, two and three-bedroom apartments, duplexes and penthouse. Residents have the Underground stations of Finsbury Park, Manor House and Arsenal within easy walking distance.
Sitting in second place in our ranking of the best new build homes developments in Hackney, it’s Anthology Hoxton Press. The development is a selection of studio, one, two, and three-bedroom homes. It comprises two landmark buildings, Mono and Duo, as well as a community café and landscaped gardens. Nestled between Shoreditch Park and the Regents Canal, Hoxton Press celebrates the heritage left by the site’s former occupiers, The Mullord Brothers Printing Press. Hoxton Press has excellent links to the rest of London. Angel and Old Street Underground Stations are close by, as well as Cross Rail from Farringdon and Whitechapel. Additionally, there is easy access to Overground services from Hoxton and Essex Road.
Third place is occupied by The Otto. This development by Londonewcastle and the London Borough of Hackney features 90 one, two, three and four-bedroom apartments alongside a primary school on the ground and first floors. The development is moments away from Hackney Downs park and Clapton, Rectory Road and Hackney Downs stations are all within a mile.
In fourth place it’s The Makers, a Londonewcastle and London Borough of Hackney development located in Hoxton. It comprises 175 apartments over 28 floors, ranging from studio and one-bedroom apartments to three-bedroom apartments. The development is conveniently situated a seven-minute walk from Old Street station, which is served by the Northern Line and national rail services.
In fifth it’s Dalston Works. The development by Regal London and managed by Native, features a selection of one, two and three-bedroom apartments in the heart of Dalston. Each home benefits from a private balcony, Conran furnished interiors, concierge service, resident-only roof terraces, bike storage, free super-fast WIFI and spacious layouts. Stone Studios is a two-minute walk from Hackney Wick station, with Stratford only two minutes and Kings Cross 20 minutes away by train. Seventh in Hackney is Pembury Circus, located a short walk away from Hackney Downs overground station, which serves directly into Liverpool Street Station in approximately 10 minutes. This Bellway Homes development boasts 268 units, comprising one to four-bedroom apartments and a few studios.
Taking eighth place in Hackney, Woodberry Down is located only moments from Finsbury Park. The development features over 5,500 new homes set across 64 acres. The development by Berkeley Homes features a range of one, two and three-bedroom apartments as well as three and four-bedroom townhouses. Additionally, it is located just eight minutes from Kings Cross and just 20 minutes from the City in Zone 2.
A close ninth, Dalston Square is a mixed-use development from Barratt London comprising a total of 244 one, two, three and four-bedroom apartments in Central Dalston. Commuters benefit from the development being just moments away from Dalston Junction that is served by the London Overground East London Line that accesses West Croydon, Crystal Palace, New Cross, Clapham Junction and Highbury & Islington.
10th place in Hackney is taken by Packington Estate, a joint venture by the Hyde Group and Rydon located next to the Regent’s Canal on the border of Islington and Hackney. The development features 791 new homes with a mix of one, two and three-bedroom apartments and studios alongside three, four, five and six-bedroom houses.
