Build to Rent Awards 2021: Top 20 Regional Developments

We recently announced the Top 20 Regional BTR Developments at the 2021 Build to Rent Resident Choice awards on November 16th. The awards took place took place at the UKAA Build to Rent Fayre in London, and are the only resident-led awards for the Build to Rent industry. Here we take a look at the winner and nineteen other top-rated Build to Rent developments in the UK regions outside of London – an expanded list to reflect the rapid growth of BTR across the UK.

Awards criteria

HomeViews Top Development Awards listings are calculated by taking all BTR developments on HomeViews.com with 20+ resident reviews received between 16th October 2020 – 15th October 2021. The winner and other rankings are based on the overall star ratings the buildings achieve. This star rating is an average of the five main review criteria on HomeViews: Design, Location, Management, Value and Facilities.

The annual HomeViews Build to Rent Awards are the industry’s only ‘resident choice’ awards, calculated purely on verified resident ratings for developments. This provides the most accurate picture of the industry’s top performers. These best-practice examples are essential for raising standards across the sector, as well as celebrating its key successes.
