It’s been a big year for new residential developments in London. On HomeViews, we list properties that are still in construction so you can see what’s coming soon. Most of these developments are being built and there are no residents in yet, so we recommend reading reviews from residents in properties by the same developer to get an idea of what to expect. Looking at buildings in construction gives you the opportunity to consider buying off plan, or to join a waiting list for a Build to Rent scheme. Many properties listed on the site are being completed in phases, but there’s a wealth of info from residents who’ve already moved in.
This week, we’ve rounded up some in-construction properties to keep your eye on…
Union Wharf, Essential Living

Union Wharf’s Zone 2 location is great news for commuters, and shared facilities will include a rooftop terrace and a residents’ gym.
“Living at Berkshire House is great – amazing stylish place to socialise with friends or other residents thanks to the spacious communal space on the top floor. The thing I like the most about this is the fact that although my partner and I live in a studio, we feel like there is so much more to it than just a few squared meters, thanks to these spaces which make the place so special.” – Mireia, verified resident at Essential Living’s Berkshire House

Brentford Lock West has a whole lot going for it. It’s in a beautiful spot, right on the Grand Union Canal, but it’s also surprisingly central – close to Brentford’s major road links and train station which has good London connections. Brentford is currently undergoing a huge transformation, so this is a wise choice for those looking to invest. Phase one sold out quickly and phase two is getting snapped up. More phases are on the way, though.
