HomeViews’ 2024 Build to Rent Resident Choice Awards
On 23rd February 2024, HomeViews announced their 2024 Build to Rent Resident Choice Awards, recognising the outstanding performers in the growing UK Build to Rent sector. In total there were eight award categories, with rankings based on reviews gathered between 17 October 2022 to 31 December 2023. Only developments with 25 or more verified reviews during this period were considered eligible for the awards.
Build to Rent developers recover from pandemic
In the post-pandemic years, residents have consistently rated their developments strongly. Build to Rent (BTR) developers handled the challenges posed by the pandemic with admirable resolve and ingenuity. While frustrations at the closure of facilities did impact upon ratings as lockdowns wore on, these scores have since recovered.
Build to Rent developments consistently outperform developments that have been built for the traditional sales property market. This is true across the board of HomeViews’ ratings, and particularly for management. The extra mile BTR developers go to in order to serve their residents with a high-quality experience pays dividends in the scores submitted by residents.
