Coliving: London’s top-rated by residents

Coliving combines the benefits of communal living with affordability and high standards of customer care. This is making coliving increasingly popular with London renters looking for stress-free terms, extra perks and a built-in social community.

London currently leads the way in the UK when it comes to coliving rental properties. The latest data shows that 82% of the UK’s operational coliving spaces are in the capital. In early 2023, 10,000 more coliving homes were either under construction or in the planning stage in London.

Coliving developments typically offer good value accommodation in the form of shared apartments and/or private studios. They’re run by specialist management companies and offer attractive resident perks and facilities.

These might include coworking spaces, gyms, lounges and terraces for socialising with other residents. They’re popular among renters who are priced out of other forms of rental in large cities, as well as people looking for a more sociable way of renting in a new city.
