Really close to Shirley and Solihullb as well as great access from the M42. It's very quiet here and a great place for families

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Very quickly and offers as much help as possible all the time

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

There is still a lot of building work going on on the estate

Close to retail park, good catchment for schools. Traffic noise low considering by a main road. However, anti social behaviour is an issue by council housing tenants.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

They have completed issues when raised. However the time frame could of been quicker

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Council tenants that live opposite was not made aware in which we receive anti social Behaviour.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Ok so we have quite a bit of anti social behaviour here with some neighbours and police turning up quite often. Traffic noise is fine, but we are a cut through so can be very busy and cars do speed around here. Like that we have the village facility but would love a local shop on site, I think that will do really well as there are a lot of families here. There is a bus number 5 about 5 min walk and then the number 6 is about 15 min walk. So not too bad. Parking is good as we have 2 spaces on our drive.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

So my smoke alarms stopped working and they came out and sorted it pretty much straight away

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

How busy the road is as it’s a cut through Be prepared for bedrooms to be small and the garden Living room is a good size, kitchen and dinner are a good size too Great echo building and very warm which is a bonus

Sept 2024

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Good points for the area, schools are of a decent quality, transport links are well thought of and the selection of shops available are of a good standard. Bad points, well there aren’t any in my opinion.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

When contacted about the issues that were apparent before the purchase and the issues after the purchase, they haven’t always been the greatest on all fronts.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The most frustrating part I have found with shared ownership is the restrictions held when wanting to add any improvements such as solar panels. Most companies won’t touch a shared ownership building.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The good definitely outweighs the bad. Shops and amenities in close proximity, and public transportation is of an adequate value.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

They’ve fobbed us off ever since my 12 month was up and gone. Even on issues that occurred before the 12 month period.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

To ensure all snag list items were completed, and that the property came equipped with solar panels.
