Average location, middle class area, minor antisocial behavior from neighborhood social housing. Very good transport links and proximity to local shops. Walking distance to tesco and Aldi. Friendly new developing community amongst residents in Affinity.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Came out to review issue. Was developing damp and water leakage. Prompt response. Fault located and sorted.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Review the slope in the garden. Mine was so slopy I had to redo my garden.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Living on the edge of a major city gives easy access to lots of different facilities such as bars and restaurants and shops in the centre. Transport links to the centre are excellent as they are reliable and frequent. Being in the middle of the development means I am partially insulated against traffic noise and other major issues. In the two years I have been here I have had very few problems.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
All snags and issues I have had with the property have been dealt with very promptly and all issues have been resolved.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
The only thing I noticed was that standard size dinner plates only fit in one of the cupboards.

Good links to city centre for work. Shops are also close by with plenty of bars and restaurants in cross gates which is only 5 mins away in a car. Locals shops 2 mins walk away including Gregg's and a barbers
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Most of snags were sorted straight away but the outstanding ones were either ignored or took over a few weeks to respond back and didn't even acknowledge the issues that we needed fixing. this is still an ongoing issue otherwise we would be giving this developer a higher score

The amount of snags that were encounted and delayed putting our own touches to the house

The access to the city centre is brilliant aswell as the availability to local shops and online delivery serves for takeaways.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Very poorly. Their is lack of communication on their behalf which has been time consuming and caused a lot of issues and stress which could have been avoided.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
That there would be a lot of snags and issues to work through that would delay our ability to get settled and put our own stamp on the home.

Local shops and post office near by, very good schools around.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Too slow, everything takes ages to be sorted, our garden sorting (poor drainage) took 6 months.
