So on the plus side a brand new property in a good location. Bad points parking design (although not designated). Missed appointments by Bloor Homes , failure to instruct repairs to my kitchen floor which has not been laid correctly. Blasé attitude when you speak to people involved this has been several weeks now and it’s a tripping hazard to me as I’m disabled registered . Clearly faulty but keep failing to get back to Stonewater . No customer service basically your in your home put up and shut up attitude . I wonder if your treated differently if buying private ..

Parking arrangements , garden boundaries and knowing how poor Bloor are in communicating and acting upon things

What is the best feature of your home:

Kitchen big and spacious . Garden good plot side gate bonus and water tap

Lovely small town with juices pubs and good amenities. Nice people amd central location geographically. Lots of beautiful countryside walks close by

My only criticism is the turning area/access road to my property. Another half a metre of tarmac would have made all the difference for visitors

What is the best feature of your home:

Energy efficiency the house is very warm and costs only £1.50/day in electricity

Alcester is a fantastic place to live and the community feel is excellent. The development has been built to a very high standard and you have good access to local shops, schools, amenities and also excellent travel links. You are a 10-15 minute drive from Stratford Upon Avon and just 30 minutes from Birmingham.

The big thing for us, as first time buyers, was around mortgages, deeds and all the fine print that can often be missed. Their recommended mortgage broker was incredibly helpful and helped us out massively. The solicitor was OK but there were quite a few questions around the restrictive covenants and management fees that were initially skirted around. These are incredibly important to consider so make sure you are aware before signing so you avoid any nasty surprises!

What is the best feature of your home:

There is a lot of positive stuff to say about our property but the best feature for us is the fact it has been built incredibly well. The last thing you want is a property that is poorly built and you have multiple issues that need fixing but we haven't had that. Our house is beautiful and while we haven';t been without issues, these are very small issues that have resulted as the house settles and have been rectified straight away by Bloor!
