Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

This is a really big development in Didcot Town, called Great Western Park. , aproz 3000 plus home have been built and many more coming. The development is good enough with facilities of tennis courts , park etc but many of these are still non operation in 2021 , though development completed in 2017. There is a mall called orchard centre .. connectivity to Padington is great thanks to gWR trains . Bin collection and parking facility is good ..lot of people moving from central london here

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Lack of facilities in this area such as builders and cleaner and resutants

What is the best feature of your home:

Reasonable pricing and lot of open green spaces ( but not maintained)

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The scenery is amazing, my children never get bored of the endless nature and tractors from our windows, never had any problems with anti social behaviour, alderveiw is a very peaceful estate full of friendly faces, can never hear the traffic from my street.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

It is quite far out from any shops if you don’t have transport, luckily me and my partner drive so this isn’t an issue, and if it’s a nice day we will walk to the local village shop. The closest supermarket is asda which is around 45 - 50 minute walk.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Lovely village, parking can be a bit of an issue where some of the houses only have one space in front of the garage. The road design around the centre green is an issue because people drive over the grass, the management company have put tree stumps on the edges loose, which has not had any impact at all?? Village has a lovely pub, butchers and a news agents and is very close to Didcot and Newbury for shopping. Bus service very good if needed.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

We had a massive issue with our flooring which was very frustrating, and the male Customer Service Manager at the time became very rude? I think sometimes they need to understand this is your home??

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The restrictions of getting into the property before moving in was very limited, and due to this we were unable to see how badly the flooring had been laid. Very frustrating chasing for this to be completed to a high standard??

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Lovely countryside, great village community with good transport links. A34 is verybclose by and Didcot Parkway station is cycling distance. Didcot has a number of supermarkets and restaurants.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I had known how easy buying a new build was. I had always been against it in the past.

What is the best feature of your home:

The size and space of the house and garden are most important for us

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

It's close to schools, on a bus route and easy to get to work. The street I'm on is very quiet and peaceful, we love the ability to see wildlife from our kitchen window

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The garden, I wish I knew how poorly designed it was prior to moving in
