Beautiful homes in a lovely location, never thought I could leave broughty ferry, but love it here. Great dog walks and lovely scenery

Think carefully about extras, it is great having an extra shower and wardrobes

The flow of the kitchen/dining/family into living room, lovely views

A great place to live!

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Living in my local area overall is brilliant. There is a good range of amenities with a shop, post office and a supermarket all within walking distance. The open green space around us is also amazing, lots of lovely walks! There isn’t a huge choice of bars or restaurants but that wasn’t a big thing for me or my family. Also there is a bus route at the bottom of the development which is frequent and passes through the city centre for onwards travel if need be. We love living on our street, its so peaceful and the views are gorgeous, it’s such a lovely development with great neighbours.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I had done quite a lot of research before buying our new build so I felt quite knowledgeable. One thing I would say that’s something I know some people don’t realise is to order bins from your local council ahead of moving in so you are not waiting weeks for them once you’ve moved in.

What is the best feature of your home:

I love our living space downstairs. The kitchen/family room is by far my favourite place, I can cook and chat to the kids in a great space. I just love having a separate living room also.

I am really happy with the layout of our home and outside image

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

-streets too narrow, reversing out drive is extremely difficult when visitors are in the street too. -fairly quiet area, some noisy boisterous children. -neighbours are friendly, some visitors are inconsiderate when parking over driveways. -20 min walk to supermarket, 10 to doctors, chemist, community centre - not too far from school. -pavements are needed on main road up to estate as often have to walk on road which isn’t ideal. -bin collecting easy, -fairly central-close commute to city centre, or Broughty ferry/beach etc -close to green open spaces, clothe drive to beaches/other open areas -close drive to restaurants/bars -taxis readily available -noise from cars minimal from Main Street in development -some noise from boisterous children down paths and pavements in developments.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

To plan out each rooms layout prior when buying so you can decide to move plug sockets etc in advance.

What is the best feature of your home:

We love the design of the kitchen incorporating the laundry zone- this has made an easier way of living, hiding away appliances with extra storage- without the need of an extra utility room.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Great area to stay at, lots of places to walk nearby and close to local shop. Public transport also nearby. The only downside I would say is parking availability on the street.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The availability of parking for guests visiting my home isn’t the best

What is the best feature of your home:

The wardrobe space upstairs, along with the finishings of the kitchen.
