Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

New local Sainsbury’s is ideal. Some really nice walks down country paths, just behind the houses. We do tend to hear the pedestrian crossing faintly although don’t live by the main road. I’m sure main road residents won’t like the regular pedestrian crossing noise. Otherwise, very good.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Yes, all sorted. Snags when moving in but all rectified.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Kitchen worktop colour is black, would much prefer a lighter colour worktop! Anything but a black/really dark worktop! A lighter colour would make the room much brighter.

Locals shop near by is great and near bus stop to town centre is very handy. Open spaces have been recently improved but could still use some work.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Very very very slowly. Normally with a bodge job fix.

Wouldn’t have purchased with miller homes ever again.

Great transport links, train station and bus stop close by. Kind neighbours and good community. Quiet and no issues as such. The layout of the development is disappointing e.g. not enough space to park the car on the driveway and having to reverse across two other houses.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Issues were raised and some items were resolved others not and they decided to ignore them.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The proximity of the road and that the developer will not actually finish off the site (plant greenery etc.)

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Good: - well located, shops are in a close proximity and convenient - nice walks and run routes directly from the development Bad: - it is messy!! So much rubbish is being left by the builders all the time - the landscaping is not finished and nobody cares! Weeds and bricks left outside. The area around the showhome is clean and tidy but beside it everything is a mess - driveway design - we either have to reverse across two houses or go over a pavement to get into our driveway

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Responded and addressed some a year later. Certain snags still remain outstanding.

I wish I knew how hard it would be to get Miller to fix snags

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

There are limited shops and and restaurants nearby, but the town centre isn't too far and has good facilities. The local Sainsbury's has a fresh bakery with donuts and a wide selection of produce.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

We had several issues with leaky plumbing but they were prompt in fixing our issues with no charge to ourselves.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I had known that the soil is very heavy and laden with clay, making it quite poor for drainage. We have since adjusted our plans in the garden, but we had to install a French drain in order to properly irrigate the facility.
