Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Plenty of woodlands, short commute to town, recently opened shop (significantly delayed). Our street is very nice with similar owners all become quite friendly. Recent increase in antisocial behaviour from the flats nearby. There is a playpark but nothing for kids over about 10. Promise of a field / pitch still not materialised, this might get the kids away from the shop and on the roads.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
The show home deliberately use smaller furniture, particularly sofas, to make the room look larger.
What is the best feature of your home:
Quality of finish is good with a nicely designed kitchen in to garden.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Only one shop, and several empty units. More needs to be done to attract other businesses like a cafe, pub etc. Open spaces are lovely. Well designed. Close to plenty of walks. Transport links are very poor. Unreasonable bus service which sometimes services the development and others drops residents a 25 minute walk along a dark and therefore unsafe road. Parking is generally good on the part of the street I live on. However, parking appears to be an issue around nearby flats and terraced homes. Cars are parked on Burnett Road which makes that junction very dangerous. Generally the area is nice but there needs to be more facilities such as a gym, sports hall, tennis courts etc.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Wish we had known that we couldn’t install a satellite dish on the side or our home. I’d recommend you don’t choose the recommended WiFi provider Grain. They are a shambles. I don’t think a week goes by that there isn’t an outage.
What is the best feature of your home:
Garage, garden, spacious dining kitchen and house set off the road.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Lovely place to live and a brilliant community to be part of, fantastic now that we have a shop facility and the new school is currently being built.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
It would have been nice to know the exact location of the school as the plan had initially looked like the school would have been closer to the road side however as it has been built it has gotten much closer to the houses, this was explained to us just how close the school would be when we bought our property.
What is the best feature of your home:
The bedroom space is particularly impressive in comparison to other competitions that we looked at.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Could do with a lot more local amenities. Public transport is very poor. Good location with good walks near by, when they aren't closed due to storm damage.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Better service with our energy meters. They weren't properly registered so couldn't switch provider for months. Still having issues now
What is the best feature of your home:
Decent size garden for a new build. We really like the area of the development we're in.
