Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Parking is good, although further along the development there are annoying individuals who park on the paths. Grounds maintenance could be a little better - fairly average. No trouble, or nuisance behaviour. Quiet neighbourhood, good Community atmosphere with residents. Safe development for children to play in. Main road slightly noisy at times but hopefully will lessen once new spine road opens.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Hard to gauge really as COVID-19 has happened. Fixed things that needed, albeit slower than maybe I would’ve liked.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Wish I’d realised how noises factory opposite is 24 hours / 7 days a week

Good: Good location to train station, supermarkets & Town Close proximity to Bath, Bristol and London with the train links Bad: Not much on offer for young people in the town One exit in and out of the estate (Phase 1) despite the estate expanding Not much guest parking Traffic noise can be loud and speed restrictions need to be enforced Not all street lights are currently working
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Take more to check for snags we were only offered an hour but required more time to pick up on all snags. Be proactive and chase if you are doing a help to buy application. Do plenty of research on the house buying process. Do not be rushed in making quick decisions by the sales teams if you are picking your add ons or layouts (kitchen, carpets, flooring etc.). Keep asking for answers from the sales team or ask them to ask someone who can answer your questions.
Please share one thing (or more) which you would change about your development:
We are in a Clayton Corner, it would be good to have the patio doors linking to the kitchen as opposed to the lounge.

Really like living in this area it’s brilliant for dog walks and has a lovely pub called the Langley Tap.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Persimmon we’re very good at attending to any snagging issues that we encountered. Sometimes a little hard to get hold of though.

Don’t feel pressured into paying the rip off prices for the extras!

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
We right on the green belts so there are lots of beautiful walks to do in the spring and summer. We are a 10 min walk away from our local shop and a 15 walk away from the town. The town has a direct train line to London, Bristol and Bath.

How much all the finishing touches would cost and how long the site would take to be completed.
What is the best feature of your home:
The kitchen is nice a light and is really good quality.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
The number of bars and restaurants in Chippenham is limited being a small town, however there are plenty of places to visit for a short drive. Located on the edge of town there are lots of nice open spaces to go walking/running and one of the best features of the development. The train is very convenient into Bath, Bristol and London which we use frequently. I have never experienced any problems with parking or noise disturbances.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
I wish I had a better understanding of the cost differences between the build specifications offered by different developers.
Please share one thing (or more) which you would change about your development:
I would prefer more options to change the build specifications - like the en-suite shower. We could not request skirting boards to be left off the house before moving in, meaning we damaged the property removing these boards to fit the flooring.
