Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Bluebell Woods is an excellent location with fields to the South. The development isn't claustrophobic with plenty of space between houses. There are some shops within walking distance and there should be further amenities when other local housing developments are completed.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

We would have tried to move away from the enconbant electricity supplier more quickly.

What is the best feature of your home:

We like the layout, especially the Kitchen and separate utility room.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Perfect location for us, rural countryside views with a 10 minute drive to the middle of Burton. Good links to A38. Good choice of takeaways, shops and local pubs/restaurants although not really walking distance. While there is plenty of off-road parking alot of people choose to park across the pavements which makes it difficult to get around with pushchairs. Small park and pond on the development is a nice touch.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish we had been more thorough with inspecting/visiting before handover to achieve a greater finish.

What is the best feature of your home:

The garden and driveway are a generous size so while the house is relatively small the plot is a good size.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The street is a nice place, parking on the street and pavements are an issue as cars don’t leave enough room on the pavements to push a pram on often leading to walking in the street and with the right corner that cars come around way too fast it does feel a bit dangerous.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I had been more pushy with viewing the house while it was being built. The overall finish of the house leaves much to be desired.

What is the best feature of your home:

The best feature of the home is the location and being mostly surrounded by greenery

Quiet and safe place to live

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Drakelow is a quiet but growing suburb on the outskirts of Burton. Town centre within easy reach, Swadlincote nearby also. Convenience stores within a shortish walk. The development itself is quiet and borders open countryside. Parking is adequate but as with many new build locations can be tricky for visitors on occasions. Living here is generally pleasant and there’s many lovely places to enjoy close by

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

That customer service once moved in would be so poor

What is the best feature of your home:

Fantastic plot location with generous garden size.
