Very Poor Quality Home

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The area is generally lovely and a good location to access many things (as long as you are mobile). There is some minor ASB. Some traffic noise (M42 close proximity).

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The overall poor quality of the home and the poor way the business deals with and 'tries' to remedy and rectify faults caused by them. Well, some, anyway ?

What is the best feature of your home:

Modern design, looks good (at a distance). Spacious living downstairs, but bedroom sizes compromised for the master bedroom en-suite and main bathroom.

Design of homes is great, with several house designs across the development

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Located in the countryside but close to the motorway with good transport links. Parking can be problematic particularly when homeowners park on the road instead of driveways. Good local co-op, gym and open spaces make for a nice area to live. With a good community

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Developer responded to snag lists and generally completed works to an acceptable standard

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Having family who work in the field we were well informed prior to moving. One suggestion for buyers would be to carefully note any snagging

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Good location, bus service now in operation. Hockley heath have good local shops plus there's a cop onside which is great. No local pub as yet but would be nice. We do need a post box onside.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Our snagging g list items were addressed in a timely manner and dates were planned.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Having a road sign close to house. More of an understanding on where bus toos, signs are being located in terms of proximity to the house.

Quite a large number of defects for a new build property which was very disappointing.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Development is well situated on the outskirts of Birmingham close to M42 links. Tesco Extra within 5 minutes driving distance.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Yea but reluctant to action anything, states frequently to monitor the situation instead of coming out and rectifying it. On a new build property had circa 55 defects.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Amount of defects and time it would take to rectify this.
