Brampton park is a beautiful estate beautifully designed. And have all local amenities local enough.. love living in brampton park no complaints. Bin collections are good parking could be a lot better we are at the start of the development and theres only enough parking for us that live here not for visitors which can annoy people but all in all great place.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

How bad the garden was to do it up as the soil is just awful and even now still a work in progress after a lot of money spent.

What is the best feature of your home:

The ensuite and beautiful kitchen. Wish there was more storage room as theres nothing at all.but you can deal with what you have.

Brampton is a nice quiet village in Huntingdonshire. Area is nice and school is near by. We love it.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Having bigger windows in the living room. Living room windows are bit too small.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

There is a very pleasant atmosphere among the residents and the transport links are excellent, with the only downside being road noise that accompanies them - but this is relatively unintrusive. We are very settled in such pleasant surroundings and could envisage being here for years as our family grows up. The builders have done a good job of maintaining style and character around the estate and a natural feel despite the large amount of housing units on site.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Yes we have had good responses to issues raised overall, despite a drop off in response times as time has gone on.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

We would have ensured our garden was more angled to get the sun.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The street and wider Linden Development community is very good. A great friendly place to live. It has the poshest newco op you will have seen. The train station is 5 minutes drive away with links north and to London an hour away. Bin collections are on time You can only just hear the A1/A14 if the wind is at a certain direction and you get used to it very quickly dont ever notice it now. There is a current issue with the landfill site which does smell at times but this is being sorted so only temporary.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Management fees. Would like to have known more about this aspect. Not that it would have changed our decision.

What is the best feature of your home:

Open plan living. Well thought out design. Houses not to close to each other.

With so many different builders on site it is a pity there are many areas left unfinished.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

It is in a small village so there are a few shops and eating places. There is an excellent Co-op supermarket on the estate. There are several children's play areas within the estate but not all open so far. A Community Hall, tennis courts and a football field are in the centre of the estate and will open once Covid-19 restrictions are lifted. The train station which runs from London to the north is about a mile away and Huntingdon just a little further. Our road is very quiet but the main one Central Avenue has problems with cars driving too fast. Bin collection is very efficient.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

We are lucky and did not have any major problems. They resolved all our issues quickly and efficiently. We found Linden Homes very good at sorting out our complaints especially during a difficult year with Covid-19.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Have a strong word about the pathetic kitchens supplied by Linden. Our very large kitchen had a very small oven, fridge and one drawer. Not suitable for a family. We knew this and had already decided to rip it out and have a new large layout. Not everyone has the chance to do this.
