Lovely area shame the building company were so awful

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Dreadful we complained and received lies form everyone concerned. Their behaviour was apparently ours. Please avoid there are other really good build very close by

How terrible st modern are as a company

The local area is starting to see some business growth, especially following the effects of COVID. I wouldn’t say the facilities are decent enough to support a community of this size and does need more investment. However, it’s is lovely town and a good community. Our roads have still not finished despite being open for 2 years and are in a poor state. We have very little traffic although the A50 is in close proximity and can be heard from our road.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

We’ve been lucky as we’ve not had many issues and despite COVID, all snags have been resolved and we are happy how things were handled

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

To make sure you check things you can’t see at viewing, such at extractor fan connections, waste pipes etc in the bathrooms and the lofts.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The good is that it is a perfectly located area between the countryside and the town. Easy route to the town both on foot and walking. The bad is that as there is one route to the main road there is a build up of traffic and a bit of a bottle neck.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

They responded pretty sharp to any issues that we raised and had workmen on site sort the issues

Garden quality (or lack of)

Good parks, good schools and good local village pubs

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

In the first week they were great, after that none existent.

Not impressed with drive layout, as wasted ground next door should have been part of our drive which would have made a big difference.

The area is great, close enough to get into town but far enough out to be peaceful.

Loads of issues when we first moved in, took time.
