Great place to live, small improvements would make a big difference.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Great location, good transport links. Friendly neighbourhood, everything you need within short walk.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Greater knowledge of the plans for communal space would have been good, and the amount of input of residents

What is the best feature of your home:

Quality of fixtures and fittings are of good quality. Some very good attention to detail to provide some character to what could be a boring new build.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The retail center just opened crossed the road gives the convenient access to a supermarket and nursery, which is good. In the future, we hope there are restaurants opening to make it more vibrant. There needs to be a zebra crossing as the speed is still quite fast. Black bin collection is not frequent enough which is causing issues for pretty much all households here. Everyone’s bin seems to be overfilled.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Yes the two-year warranty gives good cover over any issues found.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Whether the garden has a slope! Our garden has a downward slope toward our house which has caused lots of issues and made it very expensive to make it level!

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The local area has good amenities such as supermarkets and cafes / restaurants. It has great links via transport to Manchester and to other areas. It also is very green and gives suburban feel but within close proximity to the City. It is a quiet development with not issues so far in terms of noise of ASB which is great!

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I knew how beautiful the surrounding area was and how many walks there were close by as I am still discovering all of the walks / hikes.

Please share one thing (or more) which you would change about your development:

The gardens are all on a slope which means that water can collect at the bottom of the garden.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

This area is developing at the moment and will have all kind of facilities around such a us super market (Lidl already open), restaurants, parks... Just a few feet to Parr Bridge Retail Park is one of the best suburban areas of Greater Manchester.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I would have like to know there are a lot of paths (guided line and loop lines) for going on my walks, I would have picked this house sooner.

Please share one thing (or more) which you would change about your development:

I wouldn’t change anything of my property. I feel we have everything we need here.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Transport links are good. The development sits next to the Vantage line bus service that goes straight into Manchester city centre via the guided busway. It's also within easy reach of the M60 and M62. Until recently the nearest shops were in Ellenbrook and Walkden. This year Parr Bridge Village is opening up opposite the development. This has a pre-school, Lidl and a Starbucks is on the way! The area could do with a few more restaurants and bars. It's clear that the area is being invested in, so l expect that more options will be on the way over the next couple of years. This is friendly and growing neighbourhood.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

They have always responded quick to request for information and attended quickly to any snags when we first moved in.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I think it would have been useful to know a bit more information about the community we were moving into. It's all positive now that we're here. But, greater accessibility of information might have made it easier for us to settle in the first year.
