Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The development is based in a good quite area, in a lovely little village, with good facilities around, that was one of the reason for buying.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

My first time to buy a new build, it might be very common to have so many issues on a new house.

What is the best feature of your home:

Thanks to the leaking roof, I can easily find out if it is raining or not outside.

Nice green areas to the development, not yet fully built but plans seem nice.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Good area within walking distance of local shops and easy drive to bigger town centre. Parking is okay but people keep parking in the roads and on kerbs despite numerous warnings from the HA. No issues with traffic noise, I'm in a flat that's set back from the main road through the village so can't really hear it which is nice.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Legal fees for HA need to be paid by me if I staircase which is obviously going to be a bit more costly

Please share one thing (or more) which you would change about your development:

Service charge is too high, it's also increasing as of April 2021 and I'd like to know what more I'm getting from that!

Development and town is great but minor inconveniences are apparent

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Quality and range of local shops is great, there’s a supermarket, petrol station and plenty of takeaway options. Also a school if you have primary aged children. Locations is great as you’re a short journey from Horsham in the car. Parking in the car park is limited to 1 space per flat which is not ideal and there isn’t many parking bays along the street nearby our building ( enough for 4 cars). Local teens have been causing problems on he building site and around the village breaking in and vandalising but other than that the village is lovely.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

What buildings were going to be built in front of our view from our living room. And whether additional parking would be easily accessible

What is the best feature of your home:

Not so big that it’s too expensive but a nice comfortable size for 2 people to live in

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Within walking distance to a variety of shops, also local to large supermarkets via car/further walk. Great transport links, bus stop on the doorstep, main road links and close to train station. Very quiet area with beautiful countryside/downs link on the doorstep, recreation grounds and fields for sports. parking availability could become limited if more than one household has additional cars, there are not many additional spaces, new properties are being built which could cause a problem. Very well maintained grounds, no traffic noise and respectful residents. Well designed buildings that aesthetically fit in with local area.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

you can hear a lot of noise from the higher floor tennants, including using the bathroom!

Please share one thing (or more) which you would change about your development:

no smoking on or around the property. no food waste collection service
