Great neighbours, and most houses have 2/3 car drives so little on street parking in our area, although more prevalent in other areas. No noise or anti social behaviour. Bin collections are poor, but that is more falkirk council than the area!

A more accurate move in date!

The plot is fantastic and the layout/size we love.

A few local shops, good walks from the house, no parking at all for visitors. Quiet development and nice neighbors.

Ask to get visit your house a couple of weeks before you move in to measure for curtains/blinds

Open plan living space with bi-fold doors which gives access to the garden.

All round good scheme. Bad point is parking is shockingly bad. Also the sales woman when we bought the house made out that the proposed planning for a road leading round to the back of the high school was underway and would be built within the year. It was a lie
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
When raised the customer then writes an email to the site team and then it is upto them when the work gets done.

If your buying from avant directly don't sign their move in document the day they give you the keys because basically once you sign that they get their bonus and the incentive for them to do your snagging looses momentum.

We have loved living at the development since we moved in. The location is perfect for both my husband and I and we love the countryside feel with the woods close by

We wish we paid greater attention to the site development plan and the issue of no visitor parking anywhere

Tiling as standard in kitchen as the finish everywhere else in the property is fab but the kitchen is an essential

Close to amenities such as Sainsbury’s, the library, the local high school and primary schools, the nearest pub is a 20 minute walk away. A road is set to be built to relieve congestion at Denny Cross; however, nothing seems to be set in stone. It would be great to have this road built but I’m aware of people in the estate against this. Parking availability is limited for visitors. This isn’t helped by residents choosing not to park on their driveways which is frustrating and the estate is starting to become a slalom. Bin collections are mostly reliable; however, windy weather can affect this and results in contents of recycling bins strewn across the estate.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Problems that were included in 2 year warranty were responded to and resolved. However, with one particular issue with the shower, two parties played the blame game and neither were willing to be held accountable to resolve the issue at first.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Drainage in a number of gardens here is poor. Make sure that you are aware of all issues residents have had and log them in writing with Avant to ensure they are dealt with.
