Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

This is a new build in Chinnor with local shops and pubs nearby. Transport links are average for the area and train station 10 minutes away. Parking is mostly on a driveway but with the average householder having more cars which are now being parked on the footway. Bins collected bi weekly ie recycle/rubbish. Lots of children on the estate using the roads for bicycle races.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

At the beginning they were OK but then as time went on and phase 2 began we were left to our own devices by chasing customer services or even direct contact with contractors. Sometimes false promises were given.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

We never got to view the property before completion due to delays with work inside the house, having made appointments with the sales office and being let down prior to or on arrival. Also being pushed by the sales team ..... this is a stessful time for all concerned so being contacted far too many times needs to be addressed.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Local area is good with all required conveniences. We don’t have any traffic noises but do have a large amount of noise and anti-so local behaviour caused by rented properties on our development.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The building management team have not responded to our issues raised 18 months ago. They push you to buy the property if if there are unfinished aspects with the promise to fix them straight away and then do not resolve anything. Still currently awaiting our initial snag list to be resolved. We have now lived in the property of 18months without kitchen door handles.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I would have know not to deal with certain members of the sales team who are rude, disrespectful and don’t have any corners about personal data protection. I also wish I would have insisted the snags to be fixed before completing on the property as they are not sorted once the developer has your money.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

I like that I live in the country on the edge of farm fields, but still with easy access to the Chiltern Hills for walking and the M40 for travel further afield.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

They responded quickly and positively to rectify a problem with the boiler cabinet.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

People drive too fast around the estate and there are children playing in the street.
