Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The village of Ackworth is excellent, I have wanted to live here for a number of years and also wanted a quality new home so the Elegance development was perfect. The local area has a great community spirit, local shops ranging from bespoke florists, cards and gifts to petrol stations. There is a good selection of pubs and restaurants and has the facilities required such as a dentist, pharmacy and Dr's surgery too.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

We have had very few snags or issues and anything raised has been responded to quickly and to a high standard by the developer.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

My only criticism or further consideration would be in regards to parking. Not all homes have 2 parking spaces when each home usually has at least 2 cars, some of them with more and there is no room for visitors and guests to park. The road layout do not allow for safe parking easily either. There really should be more space allocated for residents and visitor parking and better layout design to accommodate.

Great location in the vilage and within easy reach of surrounding pubs, shops and amenities as well as close to local bigger towns and cities for commutes.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Yes - Swift action and respinse to all issues raised

Not one for the development or service but wish I hadnt used help to buy

Ackworth is a great village with easy access to near by cities and great pubs in easy walking distance

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The builders were always quick and effective when responding to any problems

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

We had to redesign the front the garden as the bushes that Strata planted looked awful, however it gave us the opportunity to collaborate with our next door neighbours so that they matched.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The area is ok. There is good selection of local shops and plenty of local pubs and restaurants. Lots of nice walks around to take the dog. Train station is the next village over and takes about 40 mins to walk it which I don't mind. Bins are usually collected on time. No parking unless you have a drive way.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Yeah they have been pretty good at helping out with things that i needed to raise, such as my thermostat not matching to the correct radiators.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

That my cul-de-sac was going to be changed to a through road.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

We have been in our house for nearly 5 years and we have been very happy. The development is nice with lots of local people.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

No this has been poor - this took over 12 months to finally sort.

That the snagging list would take so long to resolve!
