Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The location is great for ease of getting in and out of bath but still having the quiet surrounding that the estate offers we love it here.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Have not had to contact them Personally but I know they have respectfully dealt with problems that have arisen with neighbours quickly and efficiently

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Only that the retirement village was going to be such a long and delayed build but no one for saw this happening

A very nice place to live - sociable and well provided with good transport links.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

There is a Spar in the development which is fabulous. There are some great open spaces including a playground area. There is a good bus service into the town and a newly added crossing for the main road. Parking is reasonable - most houses have allocated parking and visitors have no issue finding parking on site. The streets are generally quiet, yet also have life in them and it is good to see kids out playing. The streets are generally very safe with very little crime or disturbance. Bin collection is good and reliable from the council, though the private bin collection for public areas is not always great. Traffic noise is very limited as there is no through roads in the development and any main traffic is kept to the periphery

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Bloor were very good on the initial snagging list, one the second one it took a bit longer and some works were still outstanding when we cold the house after 2 years...

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

It would have bene useful to have a clear layout on when the open spaces would be completed

I can imagine there are 100 more better placed, friendlier places to live.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Only local thing to us is the local spar which is extortionate.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Do not like helping with repairs that are caused by the building works originally done

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

We love living up here. The park and ride bus service is so convenient and easy to use. The spar is really handy to have on site and the play park is ideal for the children. There is a really lovely safe feeling and the houses are designed beautifully. The only bad point I would say is the children on the estate tend to leave there bikes, scooters, clothes around the place, but odd!

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

That the retirement village was going to be so HUGE!

Please share one thing (or more) which you would change about your development:

The bedrooms are a bit small, and the downstairs toilet is temperamental! Storage is a bit on the lean side, but this is to be expected on a new build

5* New build estate - great location with contemporary yet in keeping feel

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Excellent transport links to town. Low traffic. Nice environment. Great location.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The building management haven't really done much yet - we are still waiting for the big build to complete.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Square foot cost is quite high for what you get. The finish on the Bloor homes is generally superior.
