Easy & Pleasant

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The location is excellent for anyone studying or working at the University of Glasgow; it is about a 25 minute walk to campus, and you can walk part of the way alongside the river. There are good transport links (approx 15 minute walk to Partick station, with subway and rail access) or about 5 minute walk to bus stops at Dumbarton Road (including 77 bus to the airport). There's a good variety of coffee shops and pubs on Dumbarton as well. I don't have a car, and find the location quite friendly for pedestrians and using public transport--if you are a cyclist, there are many cycling paths as well.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Quick to respond and have communicated very effectively

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I had known there aren't any closets or storage (other than bedroom closets) in the studio flats

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Good we have a McDonald’s and M&S, Morrison and Lidl nearby as well as the subway, and railway lines. Bad thing is that the road is one way so it’s a pain to get out in the morning.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Very well and quick! I have never had to wait several days for help

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

That we didn’t get an extra chair included as stated on move in day

Conveniently located and well staffed

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The area is peaceful and quiet. Even with the BAE Systems across the river, it doesn't cause any nosiness when the windows are shut. There are lots of shops just a 15-minute walk away, and the bars and restaurants are close enough to go to daily, but not so close that they could cause any noise.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Any time there has been any issue, the team responded quickly and made sure that it had been resolved

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The only ‘issue’ after moving in was that since the building is brand new, a lot of the times it is hard to find it by postcode when ordering taxis, take out or registering with an electricity provider.

Clean, convenient and comfortable living environment!

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

I've been living here for two months now. Everything here is very comfortable. Twenty-four hour clean gym and very cozy public spaces. The nearby supermarket is also only about a 10 minute walk. Although I don't have any pets of my own, the pet-friendly policies and large green areas here are very other delightful. People and pets can live well here! The garbage room here is also very convenient, you only need to take the elevator to the negative floor to dispose of household garbage.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

A short while after moving in, I accidentally lost my room card. Fiona at the reception was the first to help me get a new card and taught me how to set up my e-card. This was very helpful to me!

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish there could have been more information about the apartment amenities, like the gym, common areas and neighborhood supermarkets more prior to moving in.

Excellent Management and Hassle-Free Living

Xinyu (Tenant)

Verified Resident

Nov 2024

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

My area is generally a great place to live, with good amenities like restaurants and parks nearby. However, there's a lack of convenience stores, which makes quick shopping a bit inconvenient.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The building management has been very responsive to any issues raised, addressing them promptly and ensuring quick resolutions each time.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I had known how few convenience stores are nearby. It would be helpful to plan grocery shopping in advance, as quick trips for essentials aren’t as convenient.
