The local area is fantastic with lots to do close by. The development is great, however the one big let down is the fact the work is never completed before the next phase starts, in particular green spaces and parks can be left for months and years before being completed and made available, as such parts of the estate just look like permanent building sites

More flexibility for finishing touches / changes / options within the house

Traffic around Didcot is really bad and can’t cope with the ever growing housing. The access in to the orchard centre needs replanning and more restaurants added There isn’t much open space in the area for like picnics etc. As we are in covid times not a lot of places to meet outdoors etc Visitor parking is none existent. There are 3 spaces opposite my house and other houses have claimed them as their permanent parking Traffic noise is generally ok with the odd few loud exhausts, although a lot of people speed with loud

We were told across the road would be an orchard however it’s now a park. Bus stop outside the house

What is the best feature of your home:

The size of the bedrooms, they are all a decent size. I don’t think the downstairs space it adequate for the upstairs space (4 bedrooms)

Within easy reach of town centre, which has had some redevelopment in recent years with new restaurants and shops. Development itself has a small precinct with cafes, takeaways and supermarkets Good bus service around development to town and nearby towns. Very good rail links to oxford, reading, london, bristol Family community with very little antisocial behaviour. Well cared for development with open spaces and parks for kids

Difficulty of remortgaging with help to buy. Can only get BT broadband so a bit limited for choice

Garden could have been slightly bigger as am a keen gardener and space is a bit limited, but it's still a decent size

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The number and quality of restaurants and pubs is very limited and should be increased. A health centre is more than required due to the large number of people now living in this new development. Transport is very good with buses running frequently with access to the main areas. Open areas there should be more of these, specifically footpaths to enjoy the unbuilt area.

Better understanding of how the house is built and insulation used.

What is the best feature of your home:

Well built. Good finishes and good insulation. It is a good design.
