Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Good amount of shops near by, either local or just down the road. The area benefits from a post office, doctors, hair dressers, takeaways and a convenient store. Closed down local pub would benefit from redevelopment or being restored back into a pub/restaurant.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Still waiting for my doors to be looked at, I may send a reminder before the 2 years come up.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Bath is to small or I have grown outward in the last year and 9months, luckily I mainly have showers, oh, on-suite is small too, I should have got into both when I viewed. Wanting to know the Pitch of the roof, I have asked, nothing back. Is the soil soft, dam you need a digger going through that, maybe that’s on me expecting nice thick soil on new builder.

Just outside the city of Lincoln, the town centre is a short car or bus journey away. Driveway space is ample and not too many cars parking on the street. There are a lot of loud dogs in the area but this is out of the control of developers. Generally quiet.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

They have responded to paint jobs on snag list but have neglected to act on other aspects.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

That I could choose my tiles and flooring in bathrooms/kitchen if I had put in an offer early enough in the house development.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Our new home is situated in Waddington which is a 15 minute drive from Lincoln City Centre. The local village is exactly what we were looking for, a quiet and small village with the opportunities and facilities of a city on its door step. The village has a local supermarket, a petrol station, a chemist/post office and several lovely walks for dog owners. There are regular buses that pass through the village and taxi fares are very reasonable into the city. There are 2 local pubs, the wheatsheaf and the three horseshoes, both of which are very welcoming. In terms of food, there is a fish and chip shop, a takeaway curry house, a takeaway Chinese and a cafe. Other facilities include a barbers, 2 hairdressers, a doctors surgery and several local businesses. The only thing the local village is missing is a pub/restaurant that serves food. Our street is very welcoming and peaceful with no anti social behaviour so far. Bin collections are regular and parking availability is more than sufficient. The development is situated on just off of Grantham Road but we do not get disturbed by traffic. We are also situated right next to RAF Waddington which we believed may cause a large amount of noise, however we have barely noticed any disturbances at all. The red arrows will be situated with us soon also which is a welcomed spectacle so if anything it adds to the location! Perfect for any members of the armed forces based there that wish to purchase off base.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Any issues and problems we raised on the repairs form were dealt with in a timely fashion and all questions we have asked to the development team have been answered.

Tips I would share would be to check your garden thoroughly as we have found this to be the poorest aspect of our property. However, the fact that we received any grass and paving at all is still a step ahead of other developers.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Great area for shops and very close to lincoln so access to restaurants and vars is very easy. Situated right next to a field alowes dog walking. Also there is a bus stop right outside the estate for non drivers. There is no traffic noise the only problem is bin storage. Other than that are are no problems.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

It took many months and weeks for any problems to be fixed even small tasks were not done.

More attention would have been paid to the walk around.

Old site manager helpful. And sales person most helpful to direct problems

Time taken to get infrastructure ie roads and footpaths completed
