Southwell is a lovely place to live, it has great access to schools, parks and local shops. It’s kept clean, tidy and quiet.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
The house is covered for two years for any defects
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
The only ongoing issue we’ve had is that the toilet seals often break so worth stocking up from eBay.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
It is in a very great area as it is close to the schools and nurseries and the co op is just down the road. There is a little park on the estate which is great for kids.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
They do take a long time to fix problems and we end up having to do it ourself
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
That we could have had a fence around front garden and an easier way to back garden.

Southwell is a great place to live and bring up a family. It has a great range of local, independent shops and pubs / cafes as well as excellent schools. Imperial Gardens is perfectly located just a short walk from the town centre while benefitting from being on the edge of countryside.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Snagging issues have been dealt with easily and efficiently
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
It would have been good to know timescales on the completion of the road but it’s by no means been an issue

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Close to shops, schools, doctors, dentist, etc. Friendly neighbours, fairly quiet area. Close to pubs and places to eat. Wish there was more space for parking as the street is fairly narrow so lots of cars parking on the road isn’t great but can’t be helped. There isn’t loads of privacy with the street being narrow and houses being close together, isn’t a massive problem however.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Would have been nice to have been recommended good energy suppliers, but not really a necessity.

Wonderful area which excellent schools and transport links into major towns and cities. Clean friendly community which nice high street and pubs.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
They have reposted but they have made be aware they are very busy and will get back to me when possible it has been 3 months….
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
I wish I was made more aware about the finish quality and the length of time builders would take to be off site even once building had been completed
