Beautiful countryside, very quiet. Public transport is poor, but expected. A couple of nice pubs.

Living this remote takes some adjustment, especially if you don't have a car.

What is the best feature of your home:

The boiler delivers scalding hot water at a decent pressure, perfect for a hairy woman like me.

Close to Winchester centre and Eastleigh. Very good doctors surgery, lovely schools etc. can be hard to get food delivery, only one local shop. Not a worry for us as we are both drivers.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Wish I would have known how many would have been ended up being sold on to council as it seems to have made a change to the estate. Through tenants and the councils way of handling issues.

What is the best feature of your home:

Our lounge diner is perfect size for family dinners

The overall layout of our house is what we were looking for and the driveway and garage are perfect. Can’t easily fit a big car and have space. Parking on the development is a nuisance with vans and cars parking dangerously on the pavements, corners and junctions. If it wasn’t for the anti-social behaviour from the social housing this place would be more ideal.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Hindsight if knew about the poor parking and the issues caused by social housing we wouldn’t have purchased on this development.

Space in our house plus the layout was very appealing

Ok place to live if it wasn't for the anti social behaviour!

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Anti social behaviour is probably the worst aspect of our development. I hate to say it but they culprits are all social housing tenants. There have been cases of homophobic behaviour, drug use, swearing and abuse from children and regular dog fouling with no one picking it up. There is also one tenant that constantly parks on the pavement making it difficult to pass without walking on the road. This is obviously not safe when walking a dog or walking with young children. Multiple complaints have been sent to the social house association (Aster) but nothing ever gets done. It's sad because there's only one or two individuals that make the estate testing to live on. If it wasn't for them, it would probably be a very nice place to be. And because we don't live near them, it's not a major inconvenience.

What is the best feature of your home:

The fact it's not close to the social housing! We have our own drive and space that we don't have to share.
