Keep vents on windows open as it gets very warm in the house even without heating

We love our local area, a thriving village and lovely neighbours in a quiet location not far from local parks. Transport is good and bin collection is regular. Only let down is parking availability for friends and family to visit.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Wish we had known our neighbours were paying cheaper rent to us for property which is exactly the same and some even bigger garden than ours

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

From the development you can be in the village centre in ten minutes (walking). There is a lovely little card shop, chemist, cafe and other amenities (take aways, one-stop, pubs and a restaurant). There is a petrol garage and a Co-op supermarket which stocks a good range of groceries. The post office is within the Co-op too. There are lots of lovely parks for children and walks through countryside too. There are bus links to Stratford, Evesham and Redditch. We have lived at Kings Meadow for over 18 months now and have no problems with the neighbourhood. It has been a pleasure to live here.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Initially these were rectified promptly, however after that first 6 month period, we are having to chase them to get things resolved.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The patio design is ridiculous, with slabs sticking out to allow space for bins (which you wouldn’t keep in your garden anyway, as we all have a driveway and garage) and again by the patio doors.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Bidford on Avon is located about 10-15 minutes from beautiful Stratford upon Avon with its history, shopping, pubs, cinemas and restaurants. The village itself is situated by the river Avon allowing for beautiful walks and a has a great sense of community. Local businesses, cafes, pubs, doctor, dentist etc. Buses into town if you don’t drive. This development has wide open spaces, plenty of parking as we all have either long driveways or parking spaces. Don’t notice the traffic at all, we have no more less problems here than anywhere else. If you are looking for a picturesque village location bit close to town, then this one is great.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

We haven’t experienced any problems other than they were extremely helpful in assisting us when we moved in going above and beyond what you would expect.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I really don’t have any bad ones. If Imhad to say anything negative it would be that the turf in the garden is quite poor and the soil very hard but that is being bit picky!

It's a lovely area to live in very quiet, no trouble.

The price of the rent is too high Council tax is too high Repairs aren't done in time.
