Disappointing Property Management Experience

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Living in this area has been a mostly positive experience. The local shops offer a decent variety, and there's a good mix of restaurants and cafes, though some options are a bit expensive. The nearby parks provide nice green spaces to relax, which is great. Public transport is fairly reliable, with buses running regularly, though sometimes there are delays during peak hours. Bin collections are consistentoverall it is a peaceful living environment.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

One thing I wish I had known before moving in was the quality of property management. If I had known that the management would be so disappointing—delayed maintenance, poor communication, and lack of transparency—I might have chosen to go with a different agency or even another property. It’s crucial to ask more detailed questions about how responsive and proactive the property management is before committing.

What is the best feature of your home:

The location, the design and the backyard (most desired part)

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

I am based at the Village 2 part of Kingsbrook. This residential area is very good in terms of living. Although the area has developed so much, we need more of a medical practitioner GP, Local shops like Asda/ Tesco in the new made Canal Quarter of Kingsbrook. We also need more like a indoor activities complex for swimming, facilities for kids. Overall the area is really good.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Yes we were properly looked after for the time we were under their warranty. Good customer Service.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I had known about this big development project that would have bought so many people in. The only problem now is the roads are more crowded and traffic is always high.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

excellent location, lite streets, good railway , bus links and near important motorways. the Aylesbury town is expanding rapidly with pubs, eateries of all types cinema and theatre too. the council is a caring one, always holding locals events for families of all ethnic origins. altogether a better area than i thought. could do with more police officers to improve some bad behaviour locally.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

i was not told of the houses being built on a flood plain by yourselves or your solicitors who acted for me. i lost a year of my life getting drainage and other improvements corrected with workmen in and out of my property. i have no access to the garden so they had to come through my home.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

There are no local amenities nearby at present, it's a long walk into town or its necessary to get the car out. It's a long walk to the railway station.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

We wish we had been given a proper viewing before purchasing - we were not allowed because the build was still happening and nobody was allowed on site

There is no local shops on the development the community centre was sold of for private use

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Unfortunately we were lied to about the development on how it would be finished nobody seems to care and are disinterested if you get in touch disappointing really as the house is well built and great value for money it’s the outlook of the area I’m disappointed with as I was led to believe it would be so different I have the pictures I’m happy to disclose if anyone is interested
