Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

There is one local shop, selling local products. Garage, reasonable priced fuel. Haven’t used buses so can’t comment. There is a uni bus going into Bristol. Three local pubs within walking distance. Parking is sometimes a problem as residents use the visitor parking spaces.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Slow sometimes, but other times they have responded well.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

There is a high percentage of affordable housing which we think is higher than usual.

Good, but some build quality lacking

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Nice and close to the university, small convenience shop nearby, lots of nice pubs in surrounding villages, plenty of great country walks, but fair distance to any large shopping areas

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Yes, their have been some issues since we moved in and they got fixed quickly

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

That the rest of the housing development around us is still being built and will be for quite some time so it is quite loud

Our house is a good design

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Local shop good. Stock Lane too narrow for lorries, very congested. There has been a certain amount of anti social behaviour, surprising as the houses are nice. Parking for visitors isnt always available as it is used by residents. Bins emptied regularly. Three local pubs, only tried one. Very good. Also one resident parks on the kerbside grass with a van.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Our problems have been dealt with fairly quickly and efficiently.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Builders access has to come past the occupied houses, over the pavement outside the house on a sharp bend !!

Lovely rural location

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

This is a lovely rural estate with 2/3 local pubs, a well stocked local Touts shop and garage, hairdressers and fish and chip shop. The estate has a nice feel although some pockets of it seem to have trouble with crime (not isolated incidents, crime carried out by people known to them). Parking is restricted to your own drive which makes things a bit tricky when you have guests as there is very little extra space available. The estate has a nice quiet, calm feel to it and we enjoy living here.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

All of our issues have been noted and so long as you are patient they do eventually get sorted

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The legal obligation to have social housing has meant some unsavoury behaviour in certain parts of the estate which otherwise is very quiet

Nice houses but overpriced

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The main reason for moving to the area was for work and catchment area for the school. We don't use public transport ourselves so can't comment on that. We don't have a problem with parking however there does seem to be a lot of cars parked on the road throughout the day. There is a constant element of anti social behaviour including adults shouting and swearing in the street and persistent dog barking throughout the day/night.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

They responded well at the start when we first moved in but like I said we're still awaiting some snags to be fixed.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

You never know what the neighbours are going to be like and if we had we would've chosen somewhere else. It's not all the neighbours by any means it's just a few that ruin it!
