Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Good transport links into Bristol. The metro bus and several other bus routes run through the estate. Near to Bristol to Bath cycle path. Beside Avon ring road, close to M32 & M4. Less than a mile from the local Shopping mall & several supermarkets to suit all budgets where there is also an Italian restaurant, pub and local takeaways consisting of a fish and chip shop and subway. Easy access to countryside & open spaces. Noise from traffic on ring road if right beside it, but most of estate is fairly quiet. Off street parking for many homes, some on street parking & there is a long stay car park at the park & ride. Recycling collections every week, with general waste collected once a fortnight. There has been some antisocial behaviour and car crime reported in Lyde Green. Mainly where people have left items of value on display in their cars.

You have to phone the council to chase collection of the recycling in the bin store as it is often missed.

Would prefer not to pay full council tax as well as an estate management company as their responsibilities overlap.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Good points are the area is quiet at night. Sainsbury's shops are close to the property. Properties are clean and nice. Bad points are getting accross to big Sainsbury's the road is hard to walk accross and the light goes red halfway over. Lots of traffic noise in the day.

I wish I would have known that some people here would not follow the rules and not be punished.
