Really happy with our apartment.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The location is great in terms of only being a 10 minute walk from Kelvingrove Park and an even shorter walk to many restaurants on Argyle street. The closest grocery store is a 5 minute walk away, and there is a gym right next door that comes with a discounted membership if you live in these apartments. The train station is located right next to the building which has been convenient for getting into the city centre quickly. I was a bit worried that being so close to the train station, motorway and OVO Hydro that it might be noisy, however I have found that the apartment is soundproofed quite well and I barely notice any external sound. I appreciate that each apartment has its own reserved car park in a secure lot, however I do find the £100 fee per month to use this facility a bit high. The communal areas seem to be respected amongst all tenants and kept clean by management.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Only one or two minor issues upon move in day that were dealt with immediately by Julie and team. These were no fault of Julie but more so the contractors from the build. Every question I have had has been answered promptly.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Due to it being a new build, I have found that the location has confused a lot of delivery drivers as not everyone’s GPS has been accurate. This should hopefully rectify itself with time, but might be handy to be aware of this ahead of time to be able to leave delivery notes when making online orders. You will need access to open the boom gate for furniture deliveries which can be organised through management.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Living at Minerva Square in Glasgow offers a vibrant lifestyle with a great range of local shops, restaurants, and bars within walking distance. The quality of these amenities is excellent, catering to various tastes and needs. The area is also blessed with open spaces like nearby parks, providing a perfect balance between urban living and nature. Transport links are very convenient, with easy access to buses, trains, and major roads, making commuting straightforward. While traffic can get busy during peak hours, it's manageable. The street itself is quiet and well-maintained, with good parking availability and regular bin collections. There's minimal anti-social behaviour, and traffic noise is rarely an issue, making it a peaceful place to live.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The building management at Minerva Square has been exceptional in responding to any problems or issues raised. They are prompt, professional, and take every concern seriously. Whether it's a maintenance request or a general inquiry, they act quickly to resolve matters, ensuring residents feel valued and well-cared for. Their proactive approach helps maintain a high standard of living, making the experience of living here worry-free and enjoyable.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Living at Minerva Square has been a highly positive experience, with just one area for potential improvement: the car park barrier entry. Upgrading it to a more modern system, such as fob access or camera-operated entry, would enhance convenience, as there have been occasional issues with it opening smoothly. However, this is a minor inconvenience, and management is always quick to respond and address any concerns. On a brighter note, the community here is warm and welcoming, and the overall quality of the apartments are excellent.

High Quality Flats

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The area of the development is perfect for access to the city centre, the west end and southside of Glasgow. It's only a quick walk to Kelvingrove and the University of Glasgow, so is a perfect location for students. The local area is full of excellent quality restaurants, cafes and bars and is extremely close to a reasonably sized Lidl. Access to public transport is no problem with the exhibition centre train station being directly outside the building and many bus stops being close by. I find the sound of traffic and trains doesn't bother me and the doors and windows block out most noise. Overall, the area of the development is excellent. However, I do find that £100 a month for a parking space is a little steep, and there is no free parking in the local area.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Any problems or issues raised have been dealt with or check on quickly.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The onsite management are very fast at dealing with problems so there's not much to worry about staying in these flats.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

In my opinion, there isn’t a better place to live in Glasgow than this. You are literally metres walk away from streets filled with amazing restaurants, bars, supermarkets and local shops. Also, 2 minutes walk to the train station which is a couple of minutes from the town centre so you don’t have to worry about parking! Parking on site has barriers so you always feel safe and secure. It’s also surprisingly so quiet for how central the location is. The train is passing super slowly so you can barely hear it go by.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Yes, I have only really had 1 minor issue on the first day I moved in which was solved instantly!

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I really don’t have anything negative to say about the development or area. Also, anyone who has come to visit or stay has only had positive feedback about our home. I asked my boyfriend how long he thinks we will stay here and he said he would buy it if he could.

Minerva square is perfect place to live with all amenities and facilities quite in reach

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Minerva square is perfect place to live with all amenities and facilities quite in reach. Having a train station nearby makes it easier to travel, have lidl and tesco quite close for groceries. There are pretty good places to eat too nearby. I am living quite and comfortable life here. Minerva square is new establishment but feel pretty secure with all the cameras in place. All and all pretty nice to live.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

For any problems or issues it is pretty easy to connect with the property management. Any emails or calls to Julie would be addressed pretty quickly. I have never had to wait much for a response from her or a call back. Even the issues can be raised via app and they shall be addressed on time.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I would have known that this establishment is near the station, so easy to travel, wouldn't have to look at other places.
