Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Great range of restaurants and bars, and green space and water with the marina area a couple minutes’ walk away. Very well connected can easily walk into Northern Quarter or to picadilly station for the train. Some noise being close to Oldham road, but nothing very loud. Lots of small car parks around with parking for £4 a day or so, but getting garage parking will usually require you to join a waiting list.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Yes, usually requires chasing up over phone, but usually pretty good with any questions!

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Driving in ancoats can be a little difficult due to traffic calming measures - great if you’re planning to walk everywhere as very pedestrian friendly but can be a little tougher if you need to commute by car anywhere!

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Short walk into the center of town. Lots of parking available at a short walk. I don’t hear any traffic but I live facing away from the main road. Loads of great food and drink spots close by.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Very well. We had an issue with the shower which was fixed immediately.

Trash store smells. Electric bill seems expensive.

The area is absolutely superb. Quiet, clean, modern. Vibes are always good! I’ve loved every single minute.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Immediately organised repairman within 24 hours, and had them fix it with updates.

Building works in Ancoats is very common and loud.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Ancoats is a really vibrant area full of cafes, restaurants and various other small shops, cutting room square is just round the corner and is always a great place to be. Also super close to NQ and city centre.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Flatmate raised one issue and it was resolved the next day. There was an issue with the lift but that was also sorted within a fortnight.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I had known how much noise there could be. As an up and coming neighbourhood there is so much development in Ancoats.

The are plenty of shops close by, there are lots a bars and restaurants on the door step. There are cheap car parks as well as short stay road parking

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

They have responded promptly and got the issues fixed

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

There were no instructions on how to use to ventilation system, heating and other appliances. The heaters and dishwasher are smart products but there were no instructions on how to use them. So I had to do a lot research to get them to work
