Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

We really like the area, this was one of the main reasons we chose this development. We are in a quiet location but not far from Clay Cross or Alfreton where there are shops. It is very quiet and relaxing.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

If we had known all the problems all the other buyers had experienced we might not had bought the house.

What is the best feature of your home:

We love the location of the development and especially the location of our house and the view. I really like the large kitchen space.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Being a rural development it is generally a very peaceful area with no immediate facilities. Two drinking pubs in the village, everything else you have to drive to. Buses run every hour to Alfreton and Chesterfield. Lots of walks in the surrounding countryside.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Although plenty of electrical sockets are provided throughout the property they aren’t necessarily placed in practical places, particularly in the kitchen/family area. Look at how you intend to use the space.

What is the best feature of your home:

Light and space, particularly the downstairs areas

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

A beautiful peaceful village, with two village pubs and another a lovely country walk of about 40 mins . Everyone is very friendly. A traditional village. Unfortunately not the best transport links but you wouldn’t expect that from a village anyway. A bus every hour. Very quiet estate. We actually reserved a house on a different site but decided in this one even though it was 20K more. We love living here.

Nothing really. There isn’t anything I didn’t get.

What is the best feature of your home:

Space, light, layout, design, garden, glass pod in kitchen.

Lovely and rural location, the development sits off the road as well so we feel a lot of consideration has gone into this when designing the site

Use the recommended solicitors. They may not be the fastest or cheapest but you have support from Davidsons to guide and assist and if you are a first time buyer or even a second home purchase like ourselves this is invaluable assistance.

What is the best feature of your home:

The design and kerb appeal it gives. We love the bricks used and the fact the houses aren’t built and cloned like a lot of new build estates
