Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Not enough shops for the size of the development. One restaurant and little available times due to the size of the development

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Wish I knew what a dirty mess the house was going to be on day of move. Finger marks all over the wall. Pai ter had to co.e back and the whole house again.

What is the best feature of your home:

The toilet seat is great. The kitchen tap is great. Not much else to say other than that.

Sales team are great. Well of course they are they want to sell you your home. After care with a snagging list of over 300 is not so good. Builders turn up without appointments. Leave a mess, don't actually fix anything. Ignored emails I.e. site manager ignores the problem and hopes it will go away. Road closed without any notice and I couldn't collect my son from college . He had to walk ho.e in an area we don't know. Did I mention the mess outside of our house litter from the builders. Redrow use contractors so it is like the wild west on site.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Ignore our emails when we make a complaint. Having to go into the sales office if qe want anything done.

We would not have brought this property of we new there would be a snagging list of over 300.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Relatively close to local shops. Excellent restaurant only a short walk away. Lots of open uncrowned space and landscaped walks with Rugby town centre not too far away. A stones throw from the canal and nice walks. Good parking availability for residents but would be thoughtful to have somewhere where visitors can park their cars. Bin collections good and ontime. Traffic noise very quiet. No antisocial behaviour.

Please share one thing (or more) which you would change about your development:

New houses are not so good at catering for visitor parking and this would be one thing I would improve upon.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The area is surrounded by lots of green space and walking routes. Redrow is located on the end of the houlton development which makes it easier to leave the area instead of hitting traffic. It’s located not too far from the train station or motorway but unfortunately nothing is walking distance. There isn’t much traffic noise at all, and the area feels safe and friendly - I would definitely recommend living here.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

We’ve reported are snags with majority of them being resolved quite quickly. Though we are still waiting on more to be fixed and have waited a good few weeks. The team have always responded but getting the work done has been slow towards the end.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

We bought the house too late to make any design changes, so I would recommend you reserve earlier to make the house more suitable to you. We honestly love the area and would recommend to friends.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Houlton, according to the master plan, will be an amazing and vibrant at the same time small and friendly place to live. Because we are at the early stages of the development, most of the facilities are still missing. So there are no shops (currently being built) no GP, and there aren't enough primary school places.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Living on a 'building site' is tough - too much noise and dust. Especially if you are working from home, as most of us did during the lockdown.

Please share one thing (or more) which you would change about your development:

I wish it had a roof structure which would allow us to create a loft conversion for an additional room or home office.
