Lovely area! Houses are not good quality There is no where near enough parking available It's lovely and peaceful

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Yes that have been good! The boiler has been checked regularly too

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I would have known that the garden really struggle to dran the water so in the winter it like a pond out there

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Easy access to commuter trains in Audley End. Relatively quiet although some road noise can be heard. Lots of good amenities in Saffron Walden, various supermarkets, boutique shops etc.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Generally very helpful. Struggling to get help with a current, slightly complex issue.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Extract vents on side of house had no covers. Air blowing into house. Had to fit hoods after moving in.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

good aspects - local supermarket, good community spaces eg the common, wide range of facilities ( cafes, pubs, restaurants) bad aspect- traffic noise due to main road

how fragile and easily the walls are damaged and break.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Saffron Walden is a great place to live and is getting better. It’s a beautiful market town with lots to do. It has its traffic issues and the quality of roads in recent years have been poor. Access to the Essex and Cambridgeshire countryside is fantastic. We have all the supermarkets you need, independents, restaurants, cinema, Audley End and are 60 minutes from London if required. Great place to live no regrets there.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

In truth, no and I’m currently in the process of finalising a complaint via the NHBC

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Start with your eyes wide open new builds often come with problems at a high ticket price. Visit the neighbours view the sites social media groups. Look online for feedback all things I didn’t do

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Saffron Walden is a lovely quiet little market town. It has fantastic schools and a great market. Not much by way of night life but the few remaining pubs are lovely and there are some very nice restaurants.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The water is really hard here so be prepared to take your bathroom taps off regularly to descale them.
