Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
There are several local shops and restaurants nearby. It is a quiet estate, however not much open space for cars to park on side of road. It is in a perfect location for schools and has some nice walks over the fields.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
The response was really good. We had a few issues to start with and the site manager dealt with them straight away.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Loved having a new build. We have been able to make it our own and would recommend to a friend/family member.

St James’ Gate is a lovely place to live. It is quiet, clean and everyone is friendly. It is a perfect location for schools, restaurants, shops. There is plenty to do nearby.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
We had a few issues when we moved in with the door not shutting properly and a slight leak from the bathroom, but we got in touch with the site manager and he assisted to the issues straight away.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
We originally thought Virgin was cabled to the house but we were wrong. This meant that it took a while for us to get WiFi sorted.

Close to the fields and nice areas to go walking and no traffic noise. No anti-social behaviour and close to the town centre.

Lovely development only thing needed is better bus times, also be nice if their was a shop nearer or a medical centre as being unable to drive or walk very far makes u feel a bit isolated

Wished I’d realised how far to walk for buses and how there isn’t any after a certain time of night (7pm) or a sunday

The street can be a bit tight when lots of cars are parked on the road. Bin collections and postal service are regular. There are regular busses from the end of the road
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
The finish isn't always 100%, little fixes like ill-fitting ORings on plumbing and spare holes where kitchen cupboard doors weren't lined up right
What is the best feature of your home:
The space of having 3 stories allows the house to spread out and have more flexibility as to what each room is used for.
