Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Fantastic Sainsbury's Local, well stocked, amazing staff. Great village pub, walking distance from development in Kingswells. Regular bus links to city. I live on a fantastic road, sufficient parking availability for this area of the development. Regular and reliable bin collections. Low traffic noise, from low traffic passing house. We are on bus route, but not overly affected by this. Zero anti social behaviour in our area of the development. Fantastic neighborhood. Can see parking is a problem in other areas of the development, because of lack of parking. Problems with cars parking on pavement in these congested areas.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Cost of council tax!

What is the best feature of your home:

The full length window in the master bedroom. With wonderful views of woodland.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Living in Countesswells has been a joy on the whole, we now have a Sainsbury's local shop but as of January 2022 it is the only one open. There has been the promise of a new chemist opening for quite a long time now but that has now been thrown into doubt with the news that Countesswells Development Limited have gone bust. We are told the houses that have been started will be completed so fingers crossed as we are living in a building site at the moment. The primary school although it is 3 or 4 years behind the original schedule is still being constructed and will hopefully be open to take pupils in 2023. Pity there are no plans for a local pub, restaurant or even a coffee shop but there is a bus that runs Monday to Saturday from early morning up to around 6pm that can take you into town in around half an hour. Again we have been asking for it to run later or even a limited service on a Sunday but so far this has fallen on deaf ears. The area is very quiet with very little anti social behaviour only suffering from the odd feral child up to mischief!!! As for parking it's not the best with limited spaces around the development which is surprising considering we are as far out of the city centre as we could possibly get.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The community spirit has got to be one of the biggest positives, it is a very safe area to live in and you wont be disappointed with the general and overall feel.

What is the best feature of your home:

The best feature has to be the houses surroundings, they local area is just spectacular.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Nice surrounding forests and farms but too much social housing. Street is nice and houses look good. Bad parking around the affordable housing.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Wished we knew more about the amount of social housing and the impact on the community

What is the best feature of your home:

The views of the fields and the good size garden. Also all of the new appliances

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

With now having a local Sainsbury’s open in the development it has made a huge difference not having to travel for daily essentials like milk bread etc, The lack of busses when we first moved in was an issue but now we have a bus it is much easier to travel into town instead of booking a taxi, big help. The street I live in is perfect for bringing up my young family, plenty green space for the kids to run freely and safely outside. The bin collection is regular so no complaints. It is a fantastic community to live in, very welcoming and a close knit community. My kids love it and have made lots of new friends. As have I with neighbours!

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

If your looking for a community to bring your children up in safely and happy then this is it!

What is the best feature of your home:

The outside space I have round my home for the kids.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Early days still but missing a few local shops and amenities. Sainsburys is really handy, something like a chemist, coffee shop or cafe

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

That a global pandemic would hit and the subsequent troubles this had caused

What is the best feature of your home:

Utility "cubby hole". Designed to our specifications
