We are a little out of town and there are no bus routes on the estate however we are set nearer to countryside views and it is always peaceful and quiet on the estate.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
To have a professional snag survey done as we are left with a shoddy shell of a house and each time we decorate another problem is uncovered
What is the best feature of your home:
It is very basic to be honest , the skirting board are poorly installed, the walls are uneven with plaster work. The floors make an awful sound even where no one is upstairs. The shower over bath leaks and means we have had to replace skirting boards 3 times due to rotting. The bathroom paint peeled off the walla and ceilings so we had to hace the area re decorated with peel stop paint. The sealant to skirting boards door frames etc ahs dried with dust and dirt in it. The front porch floor and front room floor needed screeding . We get lots of nail pops out of the ceiling and walls

Everyone has drives but not all use them so parking on road. Road coming onto the estate is a pain as single file traffic due to parked cars. Is quiet area though.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
The traffic issues of the road you drive on daily to the estate. Had my car scratched on that road as people try to push two cars down it.
What is the best feature of your home:
Large living room. Plenty of space for sofas and use the space a lot.

Well to be honest there is nothing bad about the development on Tennyson Fields. I have NOT had any anti social behavior, the surrouning green areas are very well kept, and no problems with noise from cars. Overhaul it's a lovely place to live

No bad comments at all. I love living here, so its difficult to criticise something that doesn't have any problems
What is the best feature of your home:
It is ideal for me. It's a one bedroom apartment, which suits me as I am a widower. It's warm, well built and overhaul a great place

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
I’ve lived in this town my whole life but it’s the first time ive lived this side of town. The most local shop is probably about a 15 min walk and the centre of town about 45. An easy walk as it’s just straight down the main road out of the estate. The only downside is that we think it should have a tiny little local corner shop within the area which would be lovely and would bring the community even more together than it already is

There isn’t really anything. I’ve only had a positive experience

Our kitchen is our favourite room in the house. Just STUNNING

What can I say other than anyone considering buying a lovell home should think twice as i had nothing but problems from the day I moved in with endless snagging and very poor workmanship that was never rectified which is a shame as the area is quite nice to live in could go on and on but haven't got the time.

Wish I'd have looked into lovell homes as house builders before.

The parts of my home that iv done the work on myself.
