Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

We are right next door to Ancoats which I absolutely love. There are plenty of cafes around, food wise NQ cab sort you out for lunch easily. Not to mention the lovely walks around the canal. I always missed this while living in Salford.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Quickly resolved in 2hours or 1day max from notice.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Dogs. There will be lots of dogs around the building and you’ll stop to pet each and one of them. Add +5 minutes on your ETA when you leave the house. Love it :)

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The location is amazing - everything needed is available in the immediate area. Shops, transport links and restaurants are within a 5 month walk radius.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Problems have been immediately resolved at the soonest convenience which is usually on the day of the report.

People show a varying degree of care or effort towards a communal bin store.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The convenience of being close to Manchester City Centre is a huge bonus. Moreover, the tram links via New Islington (only a short walk away) and Manchester Picaddilly make longer journeys a breeze. Plus, plenty of local shops and amenities are available. Long period parking is tricky if you don't have a space within the limited available in the Castings resident car park. However, there are plenty of available short-stay car parks nearby.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

We haven't had many issues to report, and when we have, they have been resolved in a timely manner.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Probably some information surrounding utilities and how and when they were expected to be set up. Given this was a brand new build when we moved in, we weren't 100% sure about the process for setting up our utilities and where not given much guidance either. It was perhaps an isolated incident, but for new tenants moving in, this may be something to consider providing. Other than that, everything has met our expectations upon moving in.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Close to the train station, Sainsburys and Aldi closeby, Costa and Dominos also across makes it more convenient and great location. Bus 219 and 230 are also closeby. A great quiet area.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Great response time and takes value in residents concerns and opinions

Hopeful that move in and leasing agreements are more communicated

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

It is in the perfect location - it’s adjacent to the train station and tram stop; it is a quiet area; there’s a large supermarket nearby (Aldi); and there’s lots of great food places and cafes down the road. The walk into the city centre is down a lovely canal next to the property.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

We had 1 maintenance issue and it was fixed within 2 hours of us reporting it, so it was very speedy service.
