We are right next door to Ancoats which I absolutely love. There are plenty of cafes around, food wise NQ cab sort you out for lunch easily. Not to mention the lovely walks around the canal. I always missed this while living in Salford.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Quickly resolved in 2hours or 1day max from notice.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Dogs. There will be lots of dogs around the building and you’ll stop to pet each and one of them. Add +5 minutes on your ETA when you leave the house. Love it :)

Good location for city centre living, close to ancoats and Piccadilly with northern quarter, market street and the arndale not too far away. Making it a great location for restaraunts, bars, pubs and shops. New Islington tram stop is really close making it easy to get most places in Manchester.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Building management have responded to any problems quickly, making sure the tenants are happy with the resolution.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Can’t think of many insights, maybe that it’s a good location for runners if anyone is thinking of moving in, we’re both training for Manchester marathon and we love the canal routes around here.

We moved in to the Castings back in November and we have loved every minute of it so far. It is super close to ancoats which has lots of amazing coffee shops and bars. The canal is perfect for walking the dog and goes directly into Manchester meaning easy access to the city centre. Parking around the area is also very good, there are a few spaces outside of the apartment block as well as lots of small car parks within a couple of minutes.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Yes the building management is also quick to resolve any issues you may have.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
The cinema room is better than you can imagine. It’s actually like being in a cinema as the quality of the screen and sound is amazing!

The Castings’ location is great with lots of bars, restaurants, cafes and supermarkets near by. There is lots of parking nearby too. The only noise we hear is the building works going on nearby, but that can’t be helped!!
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Always respond in a timely manner, with maintenance coming to the flat ASAP

The three bed window in the kitchen living area has a shorter window than two bed
