Very nice development, well designed and lovely neighbours. Parking doesn’t seem a problem either. Highly recommend it

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Taylor Wimpey responded well to all snagging and issues that came up no matter how small.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Fontwell Avenue keeps getting dug up which causes a lot of traffic problems to/from the estate. Which they’d stop engineering it all the time

Close to local shops, a park and close to Chichester Town centre. Great location. Our drive way houses 3 cars so we are lucky but only issue is not much visitor parking. Community and residents are lovely and look out for one another.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Yes in the main things were dealt with very quickly but very little needed doing for us

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

There was a leatherback issue with most of the gardens. I didn't know until a neighbour told me and needed specialist treatment to rectify which would have been better known up front and got treatment earlier..

Houses close together is a shame and parking is a problem

It’s a great location generally, close to schools, parks and local shops. Close to the beach and coast, and 3 major towns chichester, Bognor Regis and littlehampton with Arundel nearby. The street is nice with lots of friendly neighbours. Houses a little too close together so cars squeeze by each other, houses a bit overlooked if that bothered your.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Only just in place, they have sent invoices but haven’t had to contact them

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

How close houses are as you can’t tell from plans. Maybe how overlooked the properties are.

The placing of this development is great. It is set off the main road so there is little in the way of traffic noise and it is a reasonable distance (cyclable or walkable) from a few shops and a mainline railway station. There is lots of green space nearby too, so all in all a good compromise.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Very quick to respond to query regarding take-over.

House-hold waste and recycling days...and check your council tax band...

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Good aspects are that its a very quiet location, set away from the main road. The big negative is the lack of parking, or people buying houses which aren't suitable for their needs, the front of my house regularly has extra cars parked on the road... either there arent enough parking spaces or people have too many cars for the houses they're buying

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

i havent yet notified any problems, most problems i have discovered have been easily fixed not that thats an excuse for them being problems in the first place

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

it would have been really helpful to have been given some more information for new build houses regarding connecting phone lines, post codes, attempting to gain utilities such as Sky TV (specifically for my property, there is a large tree which blocks that signal)
