Very good location as close to shops, train links into London and has a lovely vibe to it. We even have a shop in the building which is so convenient

We have had a couple of normal issues ie our washing machine broke. They responded promptly and got us a new machine!

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I don’t wish I knew anymore before moving in. I was given very good information about the building and area

A Dream Home in Every Way

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The Kell is in a fantastic location with great access to shops like ASDA, Londis, and Tesco, as well as restaurants like Mast & Riggings and The Deep End. There are also plenty of open spaces nearby. Transport links are convenient, making commuting easy. The area is peaceful, with good parking and well-maintained surroundings. Bin collections are regular, and there are no major issues with noise or anti-social behavior. It’s a peaceful environment to live in, and its proximity to the university makes it even more convenient.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Moving out of my childhood home was difficult, but the team at The Kell made the transition so much easier. From the beginning of moving into a year after I moved out, they were there to assist with paperwork and support me in handling responsibilities. Cameron and Neelam, in particular, made us feel truly valued, and we deeply appreciate all their efforts. Their care for residents went beyond just providing a place to live it was about creating a community where we could grow. They truly helped me navigate the transition smoothly, making sure everything was handled responsibly. We’ll definitely miss this place and the wonderful management team!

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

How amazing the community and management would be! It made settling in so much easier.

My initial impressions of The Kell

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Good: Well maintained, welcoming and high quality property close to good amenities ( public transport, superstores, restaurants, pubs, shops, gyms and outdoor spaces). Perfect location for those wanting to be close to amenities whilst still being away from the town centre in a peaceful quiet area. Bad: If you do not want purchase an on site parking permit then parking can be tricky. Due to being close to the water, high exposure to wind!

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

There have been some issues since moving into the property (re fridge, plumbing, wifi etc) which were mainly all small teething issues. However these were always responded quickly and efficiently!

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Be prepared for harsh wind during the colder seasons!

Manager response

Hi Robyn, Thank you for sharing your experience at The Kell! We're delighted that you love the modern design, great lighting, and renter-friendly features. It’s also fantastic to hear that our management team has responded quickly and efficiently to any issues. We appreciate your feedback on parking and the windy conditions—while we can’t change the unpredictable British weather, we’re glad the location offers great amenities and transport links. Thanks again for your kind words! If there’s anything else we can do to enhance your experience, feel free to reach out. Best wishes,

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

THIS IS A VERY HONEST REVIEW. Local shops / amenities 5/5 🌟 Parking availability is 1/5 Never experienced any anti social behaviour Price point . It is expensive .

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Fair enough ! It was comfortable to live in during the time I was there until it was time to move out. The move out process is hell and the management fabricates all sorts of issues to deduct all of your deposit , if this isn’t theft I don’t know what it is!!! Even after leaving the apartment in immaculate condition. I was being charged for things that didn’t even exist . Imagine being charged for things that were not even new when I moved in and I am being charged £2,110 when it’s not like a mad person stayed in the apartment. Don’t be fooled with the decor of plants , decor and flower pots . Avoid the KELL at all cost!!!

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I had checked reviews of previous tenants and move out procedures. It’s ridiculous how they fabricate things to charge you with.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The location is excellent, offering a perfect mix of convenience and natural beauty. To the east, there's a charming bar and a serene lake filled with ducks and water birds, providing a peaceful escape. Just 200 meters away is an Asda, while Lidl is a short 500-meter walk, making grocery shopping incredibly convenient. On the west side, you'll find a Londis and a scenic sea coast, adding to the area’s appeal. The neighborhood is quiet, safe, and beautiful, making it a great place to live with all essential amenities within easy reach.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The Kell development is well-managed, and the team consistently values resident feedback. The management staff, especially Cameron and Diba, are incredibly helpful and supportive. They promptly address any inquiries, even during holidays or weekends, ensuring a smooth and responsive experience.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I knew my friend and nice neighbor earlier so I could have won the refering award
