Overjoyed with our new home

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

We couldn't be happier with the quality and design of our new home. The location in a huge bonus as we are now part of one of Kents historic picturesque English villages. We have everything we could need and more within a 10 minute walk from our house. Unlike many new developments, the plot our house is on isn't lacking space. We have a huge car port and can easily fit 3 vehicles on the drive not the mention the potential of adding another parking space onto our generous front garden. Our view out the back isn't shadowed by a row of houses like many new developments. It's open, we can see the trees that line the field and so much sky. We aren't overlooked thanks to the clever design of the development ensuring no garden is completely overlooked. We couldn't be happier and never see ourselves moving.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

They respond immediately and are very transparent with everyone who lives here.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Prior to viewing the property, we never imagined the high spec, storage space in the home, outside space etc that we would have. Our expectations were based on a typical new build. Millwoods homes are far above that.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The range of shops isn't restricted, especially the Post Office as it closes every day at 3pm. There is a range of different places for eating out which is lovely. Transport isn't great unless you drive. Living on the street is amazing and everyone has come together as a community, everyone helps each other out and is very friendly. So far there has been no anti social behaviour and we don't hear the noise of traffic. Parking availability is good there always seem to be spare parking.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

There are lots of small issues because it's a new build so I would recommend reporting them as soon as they arise.

I think it's laid very nicely and all the builds look great.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Close to my parents, not much noise, nice neighbours. Only downside being having to travel a fair distance to get to supermarkets.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

A few things were a bit murky, like what day rubbish collection was, simple things like that.
