Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Hostile sales advisor, criminal misrepresentation of a planning-permission approved two bedroom house as a three bedroom house, extremely poor workmanship, provision of false information, insufficient provision of vital informed-decision information, and the list will go on ….

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

To some extent yes but, I was and am not happy with the repairs done and felt no energy to dwell on the problems e.g. broken bricks, poor workmanship, different colour of brick used in some area of the external walls, brick not sealed at all!

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Had I been told that the planning permission approved by Birmingham City Council was for a two bedroom house, I would not have purchased the house which Persimmon misrepresented to me repeatedly in all their documents as a three bedroom home.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Really good location with many shops nearby. Not as many good restaurants and open spaces nearby, but can easily be accessed via public or personal transport. Bus station at a 1 minute walk and train station at a 10 minute walk - very convenient. The housing complex is really good with parking allocated to each apartment. Bin collections are generally regular, with occasional large items being left around for some time. It is a bit on the noisier side with ongoing construction from new apartment blocks and a nursery nearby. Local neighbourhood and community are generally very friendly, making the area nice to live in.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

I haven't had to contact the building management with any problems,

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

It can get quite noisy during daytime with ongoing construction work and a local nursery during weekdays.

Lovely area to live

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Lots of spaces to eat or drink in Selly Oak, quick bus or train into the city centre for more options! Lots of local coffee shops and bars to grab a drink or a bite to eat. Parking at the complex is great, also many options to park on the street. Bin stores very useful. Minimal traffic noise apart from the odd ambulance going past!

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Yes the building management has been excellent in their after care and ensuring that the living space was comfortable

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Whereabouts visitors can park! Gets a little hectic with people parking so would be nice to have some visitor bays :)
