Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Beautiful development on the boundaries of Botley Woods. Very private and quiet and finished to a fantastic standard.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Alex was fantastic. He helped us with all our technical problems and any issues were resolved professionally and efficiently.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Always be honest about your situation. If you have issues with referencing like we did with our landlord reference just let them know and other option could be available to you to make to get the property you want.

Development great! Leaf Living Poor!!

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Very easy links to shopping between both Portsmouth and Southampton with access to Whiteley shopping centre which is great!

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Very very Poor, communication is terrible, long long waits to get any information regarding the next steps on our homes repairs. We’ve even been asked if we know what’s going on with the repairs on our house by the property management team, THIS IS YOUR PROPERTY!! Absolutely disgusting! Extremely disappointed!

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I was hopeful when we moved in that being a new property there would be no major issues just a couple of minor repair issues that may arise, little did we know that our whole kitchen would have to be removed and backboards replaced due to black mould, extremely concerning especially when my partner has really bad allergies and this was made aware to the property management team! Absolutely disgusted!

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Fantastic area to live in, in terms of being able to park our car and the host of outdoor space available to us, especially with a 4 year old. We have been really happy since we moved here and despite the minor issues we’ve had with damp/mould it has been relatively smooth. Still lacking a convenience store but I believe that is in the plans and will eventually be available.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Yes, all problems have been rectified or in the process of being dealt with accordingly.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

We were fortunate to move into the property we viewed and don’t feel there were any areas that we felt we wish we had known before.

Great layout, but some issues

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The area is great it’s a 5 min drive to the local shopping centre and also about 10 minutes from a small village. Parking is terrible as all roads around the estates have been double yellowed so it’s almost impossible to park when you’re only allocated one parking space. Bin collections are fine but hard in the beginning before the local government were aware they needed collecting. The traffic and noise isn’t bad now but the building noise from around the area was awful in the first 4 months of us living here.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

We went almost 8 weeks in the HIGHT of summer in 2023 without a fridge due to it not working. We had very poor service from leaf during this time and was like pulling teeth getting them to help. Penultimately they gave us a temporary mini fridge which was tiny and not sufficient for actual daily life including barely being able to fit anything in it. The resolution in the end was changing the fridge with one from the show home which could have easily been done in the first week of our problems. We have also had parking issues, mould issues and general lack of response issues since moving in and find it hard to contact leaf if and when necessary.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish we had been told the roads were going to be double yellowed after us moving in as this reduces the availability of parking in the area.
