Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Good location close to the motorway so good for commuting and for day trips. Also close proximity to city centre if you drive or getting the train from Roby station. All houses have their own drives so parking never an issue, however some on the main road into the estate still park on the road making it sometimes difficult to squeeze through.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Very few issues but whenever one was raised they would send someone to take a look and get it fixed very promptly.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
The outer ring of the estate seem to get a bit of anti social behaviour as being on the busier roads. Never had any issues in the middle of the estate .

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Not so much good shops around the area if you are planning to just walk nearby. Mostly needs to be driven. Security wise i could say that it is relatively quiet and safe since it is a new estate. I feel secure. It is quiet except for the construction noise which is only beside us.. but that is understandable since area is not fully done yet.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Functions of all Home features like smoke detectors, security alarm, keys whereabouts, air filter upstairs and isolator. It should all be explained to us. Because video explainer is different from actual house.
What is the best feature of your home:
Sky-light Dining Area, and Bay Windows on the Living Room.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Close to nearby shops including co op and couple of corner shops. 20 walk to town centre. Transport links good. Bus stop across the road and train station 15 minutes walk. Street is nice however been broken into once while we were sleeping and had my car window smashed in.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Very good. Various issues the first month with the building moving and screws coming through roof, sink was put in incorrectly, something within stairwell slipped behind wall so you could see a huge line. All these issues were rectified within a suitable time frame and free of charge. We also had reoccurring issues with damp behind the wall in our bathroom. Although they didn’t sort the first time around, they replaced the tiles and sorted just recently. Customer service department very helpful and quick and efficient with emails, even through lockdown.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
I would ask what problems I would expect to see. I assumed that I would be moving into a house that would be ready from day 1 and nothing else would need done. 2 years on we are still seeing things. It would be nice to have known this was normal. It appears looking at countryside’s business model, they are thrown up quickly with low skilled labour and they expect the snagging. I understand if it was to be perfect and stay perfect countryside would have to change their business model to luxury housing and put prices up.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
For the last few months we have had workers parking outside our house, lorries and trucks blocking our house. They should not allow this and should make sure they have space for deliveries. Jubilee park is really friendly though and there is a lot of shops around

Hound them about snags.

The pot holes outside. And the turf laid is horrendous

lovely community, everyone helps each other. Lots of incidents of cars being robbed and some antisocial behaviour

get all snags completed before being handed over to customer service
Please share one thing (or more) which you would change about your development:
Would be nicer to have a bigger, more square lounge, as it is quite narrow and hard to arrange furniture
