Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Great access to busses, station, public parks, sea front, shops, pubs and cafesParking availability is not great for visitors - 2hour limit on street. Traffic noise is expected however quiet with closed doors/windows.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
The issue I raised regarding a towel rail not working was fixed quickly
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
I wish parking for visitors was an option, or some kind of permit style thing - eg 25 permits per household to use the underground car park.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Brighton, East Sussex, is a vibrant and popular coastal city with a mix of good and bad aspects. Brighton offers a wide range of independent shops, trendy boutiques, and big-name retailers. The North Laine area is especially known for its quirky stores and cafés. Dining options are diverse, with an emphasis on local seafood and international cuisine. There are also plenty of vegan and vegetarian options. The bar scene is lively, with a mix of traditional pubs, stylish cocktail bars, and music venues. The seafront is a popular spot for bars with ocean views. Outdoor spaces like Hove Lawns, Preston Park, and the South Downs National Park offer great places to relax, walk, or cycle.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Fantastic, always take prompt action and always attentive.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
York & Elder is ideally located in a central area, just a short distance from the station. It also offers stunning views from the terraces, and residents have the option to lease allotments.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Very central location, everything is in walking distance, with Brighton station just 5 mins away. Shops and nice restaurants in the area as well.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Unfortunately replies have at times been very slow and needing to be chased from management, but maintenance team has been great!
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Area can be a little noisy in the night due to how central it is, however that‘s only an issue with the windows open, great noise isolation when closed.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Living at York & Elder means I don't always have to drive as local transport links so close by makes everywhere accessible! I don't hear much traffic noise from my apartment but in the summer you do get a bit more noise from local pubs Bin collections have sometimes been delayed but the staff here try to manage this the best they can.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Issues have been dealt with and communicated well.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
I wish I had known about BTR properties earlier as it has really helped with the long term security for me.
