Living here is very easy and perfectly placed. Lots of shopping a short walk away. Everything you need is here.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Yes, only had a few issues and they were dealt with so efficiently

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

They have trolleys to help you move stuff in! Apart from that nothing comesto mind

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The location is great at Verse! I love being in the city centre but not in the middle. Our street is quiet with M&S nearby, bus stops, entry to the mall, and cute coffee shops nearby!

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Our management team always responds to us and is more than willing to help which has made our time at Verse awesome and we really appreciate that.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I have never had such a small washer/dryer that is all in one and doesn’t work super great so I wish I knew that. I also didn’t expect to have a mini fridge considering every spot I’ve ever lived has had a full size fridge. Other than that it’s been great to live here, super clean, great location, and has a lot to offer!

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Wood Street House is in a great position being next to the train station and right in Cardiff city centre so you have pretty much everything you need on your doorstep.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Haydn in the maintenance team is very fast at responding and sorting issues, I submitted some small issues with my inventory in the evening and had a response from him the next afternoon with everything sorted within 48 hours. He's extremely friendly and really seems to care about the residents' experience here where there are building snag issues. Mo was also really welcoming when he was working on my move in day and helped with loading bay parking issues on the day.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Nothing that I can think of at the moment. There are obviously standard city noises as it's in the centre but ear plugs help with that!

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Being in the heart of the city centre, the amenities are all at a walking distance! There is a tesco only a 1 minute walk which opens late 7 days a week which is very convenient. I personally am very happy with the noise as although you’re in the city centre it is still fairly quiet and relaxing. There is the occasional noise when there are events happening but that is a given living in the city centre and is not like that 24/7

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

If I ever had any issue, the management team is very responsive and will ensure the problems are solved

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

To be honest what you see in the viewing is what you get. I was very impressed and it has not disappointed me one bit.

Cardiff is a vibrant and affordable city. There’s always something to do and you’re in a friendly community.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

No issues as of yet but know they would respond quickly and professionally.

Just how good it really is. Unbeatable value in a city and perfect for young professionals.
