Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Location great, convenience stores right outside, transport links are local and easy to get to, street is quiet and the people living in the building are friendly, we’ve had no noise complaints from inside or out. Parking is a major issue and if you drive you should expect to have to pay anywhere from £100 to £170 per month extra for a parking space near by.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
I don’t have any real complaints for building management but haven’t really needed to bother them compared to other people I have spoken to in the building.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Council tax is the same for all floors no matter what you are told.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Close to main station and city centre. Student building, train tracks and main street next to the building, so very noisy if windows open. No parking close-by except for heavily overpriced resident parking. New building, reception and communal areas, gym (though too small and allowed occupancy too high, air-conditioning often broken).
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Sometimes helpful, but recently the service has gotten worse and issues are no longer addressed or followed up let alone fixed.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Only one year fixed contracts without exception, high rent increases, bad maintenance.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Living at the copper works is ideal in terms of access to transport and proximity to restaurants and bars as it’s a 5 minute walk away. Due to it being in the city centre, there is a supermarket a 20 minute walk away in splott but has a small Co-op and Spar on the doorstep. Parking availability is very limited for 300 apartments, with no street parking available. The building is located next to a busy train track so noise can be loud at times but you get used to it. Overall, for the price you pay for living in the city centre, I think The Copper Works is a decent place to live. If you’re looking for somewhere that is close to the city centre but is far enough that you’re away from the main streets it is ideal
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Reception team respond promptly, however the repairs and issues tend to take a month or two to be fixed.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Rooftop terrace is out of use the majority of the time.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Living at Wood Street House has been a great experience overall. The best part is the unbeatable location-everything is within walking distance, from shops, restaurants, and bars to major attractions in the heart of Cardiff. The Cardiff Central Station and Bus Station are just minutes away, making it extremely convenient for travel within the city and beyond. There are also plenty of activities, entertainment options, and green spaces nearby, making it a lively and engaging place to live. The only downside is the noise on weekends, particularly from nightlife and the sound of bottles being thrown in the trash, which is very disruptive. However, this is expected in a central location with a vibrant atmosphere. If you don't mind the occasional city noise, the convenience and accessibility more than make up for it.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Issues are tended to almost immediately or within the next working day, with the building management responding efficiently and ensuring residents' concerns are resolved promptly.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
I wish I had realized that living in such an area with an active nightlife means that noise and the sound of bottles breaking on weekends are inevitable. It’s something that isn’t always obvious during a typical viewing, but it’s worth considering if you’re sensitive to noise.
